Sunset Waves in Winter

You know it's been a rough winter when it's 35° out and you're thankful for the warmth.  One such day in particular the breeze was still up a bit, so it was still a bit chilly, but sunset was shaping up nicely.  With a view from the southern shore of Rhode Island, I watched the waves roll in and the clouds slowly light up.  I switched back and forth between stopping the wave action and panning with the waves to create motion blur.  Even when I was editing I couldn't decide which shots I preferred so I edited a bit of both!  It was a beautiful evening with a sky full of fire and waves rolling ashore.
