Cape Cod Explorations

I found myself on Cape Cod for a few hours not too long ago, and while I didn't know what I might photograph, I had packed my full seascape kit and drone just in case.  Luckily, with some local knowledge from friend and fellow photographer Cody DeGroff, we explored a few spots throughout Orleans and Chatham with an eye on the sky for sunset. Aerials & Stars at Point Judith Light

The skies have cleared!  It finally feels like winter has departed and made way for spring (if not summer).  By mid-month we had several days of calm skies, light breezes, and plenty of sun.  I took the opportunity to venture to Point Judith Lighthouse one Friday afternoon with fellow photographer Kat Carney. Frozen Droning

With phrases like "polar vortex" becoming common vernacular, it's not surprising that we've seen some deep freezes this winter and it's only halfway through the season. During the beginning of the cold snap this December, I scoured Google Earth for a nearby pond with some cool shapes that might be fun to fly over. After a bit of scouting online and by car, I found one frozen solid with just enough...
